Portland Island July 06

Me Dave and Jo paddled out to Portland for an overnighter two weekends ago. It was a nice warm up paddle for Jo, as we leave for the west coast in two weeks. Trip preparations are pretty much complete, we still have a few minor details to work out. Four days in the Broken Group followed by 4-6 days in Clayoquot Sound or... ???. Fun stuff!
I went to MEC on Monday night to buy some more gear. I picked up a new paddle, Hennessy Hammock, and various other little things. I'm really excited about the Hammock and can't wait to try out the paddle!
